Who is Plass Appliance?

Plass Appliance is a family owned company that was started by Art and Ed Plass back in 1938. Presently there are second and third generation Plass Family members working within the business.

Plass Appliance has celebrated over 70 years of being in the Appliance Business. The Company has sure come a long way from where it first began. From one single Showroom, the business has evolved and expanded to 7 Showrooms spread throughout the surrounding Chicago land area. Plass currently has over 100 full-time and part-time employees, some of which have worked with Plass for over 30 years. Over the years the Company has received numerous awards as well as National Recognition and honors for their success and accomplishments within the Appliance Industry.

What is the Plass Appliance Return Policy?

If you believe a return is necessary, Plass Appliance's customer service representatives are ready to help. Call 630-351-4020 or email sales@plassappliance.com. Authorized returns will be given an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number. Policies and procedures for obtaining an RMA vary based on the reason for return.

Defective Products: Most products sold by Plass Appliance include a one year, parts and labor warranty. See your product literature or speak with one of our product experts for details. If your product is defective upon arrival, notify customer service of the problem within 24 hours of receiving goods. If you notice the defect after 24 hours of receiving goods, please contact the product's manufacturer. Contact information for the manufacturer is included in the product literature.
NOTE: Most manufacturers require one service call to diagnose the problem.

Damaged Products: All of our shipments are 100 percent insured. Products damaged during shipping are eligible for exchange at no charge to you. The procedure for exchanging damaged products depends on whether the product is delivered by Plass Appliance or a third party shipper. See below for details.

Plass Appliance Delivery: If you are a local customer (within 50 miles of a Plass Appliance location), your product will be delivered by one of Plass Appliance's delivery teams. Upon delivery, inspect your product for damage. Should the product be damaged, you have the right to refuse the delivery. Contact Plass Appliance customer service to schedule another delivery.

Freight Carrier Delivery: If you are outside of our local delivery area, you will receive delivery by a third party freight carrier. Upon delivery, carefully inspect your product. Be sure to remove all packaging as the product could have concealed damage. If there is extensive damage to the product, you should refuse delivery. If the damage is minimal and you are willing to accept a service call to repair the damage or a damage allowance, you must (a) note the damage on the carrier's delivery receipt AND (b) notify Plass Appliance customer service within 24 hours of receiving the product.
NOTE: If you notice the damage after signing for delivery and the shipper has left the premises, it is your responsibility to file a damage claim with the carrier.

The Product Does Not Meet Your Needs: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the product within seven (7) days* of receiving it. To begin the return process, you must notify customer service within the seven (7) day* grace period. Products must be returned in brand new condition and packaged in their original box including all packing materials, manuals, blank warranty cards and included accessories (i.e. remotes, cables, hoses, etc). Products must also be free of any cosmetic damage. Products that do not meet these requirements may not be eligible for return or will incur a 25 percent restocking fee. Any product that has been installed or attempted to be installed can not be returned.
NOTE: Shipping and handling charges from our warehouse are non-refundable; restocking fees may apply. Customers are responsible for shipping charges incurred when returning a product. Special order merchandise, or merchandise sold "as is", discontinued or clearance items are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

DISCLAIMER: The customer agrees to the terms and conditions published above when they place a completed order with our company. In addition, the customer authorizes their credit card company abide by these terms. Plass Appliance reserves the right to cancel orders at anytime.

Can I cancel my Order?

Orders may be cancelled up until the items are shipped/Delivered. Once they are shipped you will need to refer to our Return Policy.Exceptions: Special Order Items - These items are non cancelable. Order will be charged upon placing the order and will be considered final sale (non refundable).

How do I take advantage of rebates?

Most of our products have the rebate forms linked from the product page. What is the delivery fee?

Local Chicago deliveries are just $69 and include White Glove service, free of charge.
Orders of $2499 or more receive Free Delivery anywhere in Illinois.
Delivery outside of Illinois: Please Contact Plass for a freight shipping quote.

Here at Plass Appliance we offer the best in delivery and installation. Our professional delivery drivers will help set up your new merchandise in home. We will install basic connections to your new purchase with the correct connections at time of delivery.
